Use a flat logo and choose EPS after tracing. If your icon relies on gradients or translucency, also download an SVG or PDF for comparison.
Gradients become average solid colors, and transparency is composited against white. Check pale edges on a colored background and resize the artwork in your target editor. Browsers cannot display EPS, so the comparison preview below shows the SVG, which keeps the fitted gradient; the downloaded EPS flattens it to a solid color.
This EPS exporter does not preserve gradients or live transparency. Use SVG or PDF when those features matter.
