- Compare narrow gaps, touching color regions and closed edges against the original. If the logo contains lettering, a smooth curve still does not guarantee correct glyphs.
- Open the SVG in a vector editor and select one shape to change its fill. If there is lettering, those traced outlines are shapes, not editable text.
- Check the logo at its intended size on both light and dark backgrounds. Inspect the fine details before using it on a website or sign; if there is text, confirm the small lettering is legible.
